A teenage boy wants to ask his crush, Brill to the dance but he has been “archived,” so he must hack into Brill’s memories to be seen again. Written in 2014 and drawn in 2017, this story illustrates a prediction that humans would use a brain-computer-interface to help us decide what to say in conversations. They would also use software to modify our memories and “hack” into the memories of the people in our lives.
